Basic Modelling This tutorial contains a basic introduction to using PRO/Engineer. The concept of using features to create models is explained and a simplified model of a mobile phone is used to introduce extrusions and rounds.
Intermediate Modelling The tutorial builds on the knowledge of first tutorial. A set of headphones is used to introduce new features including revolutions, basic patterns and more complex rounds.
Advanced Modelling This final model building tutorial concentrates on creating complex shapes using splines, sweeps, blends, shells, ribs, rounds and projection curves.
Drawings The techniques for laying out a drawing are described here. Creating and positioning of different view types including sectioned views is covered. Dimensioning is NOT covered. This tutorial requires the Housing model to be downloaded.
Detailing Continuing on from the drawings tutorial the annotation of a drawing is covered. This includes the addition and manipulation of dimensions. Completion of the drawing tutorial is required before attempting this tutorial.
Modifications Changing a model is an important technique in PRO/Engineer. Modifications to dimensions are covered along with the more fundamental changes to features through redefining, reordering and inserting.
Assemblies Creating an assembly and the combination of parts to form an assembly is covered here. Assembly constraints are explained in detail. This tutorial also covers the generation of management information such as bills of materials. The following parts are need for this tutorial and should be downloaded first Arm Butterfly Cover Housing Shaft.
Tolerances PRO/Engineer is quite unusual as a solid modeller in that it is capable of recording and using tolerance information. The addition of tolerances and their use within such operations as weight calculation and part interference are described.
Basic Moulding PRO/Engineer allows the moulds required to manufacture a component to be created quite easily. The following part is need for this tutorial and should be downloaded first Casing. Here is a good design guide for injection moulded parts.
Plastic Advisor PRO/Engineer offers an optional package to analyse and visualise the mould filling process for injection molded parts. This tutorial introduces the analysis of injection molded parts. The following part is need for this tutorial and should be downloaded first Casing.
Mechanisms How to assemble parts to simulate the movement of mechanisms is covered in this tutorial. This tutorial uses the model of a pair of mole grips the parts for which are available here Handle Jaws Main Screw Strut Pin1 Pin2 Pin3.
Advanced Mechanisms How to create a mechanism which simulates the assembly process is covered in this tutorial. This tutorial uses the model of a car wash/wipe mechanism the parts for which are available here Arm Axle Blade Bracket Gearshaft Gearwheel Longarm Motor Nut3mm Nut7mm Pin Pinnion Washer Wiper.
Dynamic Mechanisms How to create a mechanism which simulates movements, velocities, accelerations and forces. This tutorial uses the model of a mountain bike the parts for which are available here Bike Frame Fork Seat Bottom Shock Top Shock Tail Wheel.
Warping How to create complex sculptured shapes using the warp features.

Turning PRO/Engineer can generate and visualise CNC toolpaths for machining of parts. This tutorial introduces turning of simple models. The following part is need for this tutorial and should be downloaded first TurnedPart.
Milling PRO/Engineer can generate and visualise CNC toolpaths for machining of parts. This tutorial introduces 3 Axis milling of complex free form models. The following part is need for this tutorial and should be downloaded first Mould.
Basic Pro Mechanica PRO/Engineer models can be used to calculate stress using the finite element method (FEM). This model of a bracket is used as a further exercise.
Thermal Pro Mechanica PRO/Engineer models can be used to calculate stress temperature distribution using the finite element method (FEM). This model of a saucepan is used as an exercise.
