International Scientific Conference For The Relativity and Foundations of Modern Physics ISCRFMP
Date: June 14 to June 16, 2003. Place: International Conference Center, Northwestern Polytechnical University Xian China
Organized by: Northwestern Polytechnic University Sponsored by: Defense Technological and Scientific Research Academy of NPU Shanghai Hoff Lu Research Institute of Matter Regularity of (HLRIMRS) College of Mathematics and Physics of Xi’an University of Engineering Science and Technology, Academy of Aeronaotic China Academy of Mechanics of shaanxi China, (Academy of Time of astronomics) Union of Science and Technology in Mathematics, Physics, and Mechanics
Aim of the Conference The 20th century is the century in which unparalleled and splendid achievements have been made in science and technology, hence the full development of science.. Especially after the birth of relativity and quantum mechanics, social productive forces of the world has been developed promptly, and mankind has created tremendous achievements in science and technology as well as material wealth.. Since the arrival of the new century, many new discoveries have been emerging in an endless stream; science and technology have been changing during the course of even a single day. However, any theory of physics is a relative truth, which is tenable under the given conditions and scopes, and of course, there is no exception for the relativity. Today, when the physics faces unprecedented and expanding opportunities, whether the physical essence and inner mechanism hidden behind the relativity and quantum mechanics can be further revealed deeply and throughly have become central issues concerned by the people. In order to promote and make further development of the two fundamental sciences, a academic conference is to be held, and at the Conference academic exchanges will be carried out in the aspects of theoretical concepts, mathematical methods, experimental measures, etc.
Content of the academic papers 1. The further explorations of the experimental basis and mathematical logic of the relativity. 2. Explorations for the internal physics essence of the relativistic effects. 3. Interrelations among relativity, quantum mechanics, and theory of gravitation 4. The explorations for physics of Faster-Than-Light.. 5. The orientation of physics in the 21st century; the originative researches and Explorations for the basic theories of modern physics, especially for the experiments: e.g., vacuum structure and its quantization, interactions between elementary particles and vacuum etc.
