Oasys Primer Introductory Course (1 day)

This course is intended as an introduction to Oasys PRIMER for those who have not
previously used the software.

Workshops are run throughout the course using the Oasys PRIMER software.

Oasys LS-DYNA Introductory Course (2 days)

This course is a foundation course for all users of LS-DYNA. Mesh generation is not covered
in this course. A series of workshop examples are used to reinforce the content of the
lectures during which students will also gain experience of using the Oasys suite of software
programs. The following topics are covered:

Oasys LS-DYNA Automotive Crash Analysis (3 days)

This is a 3 day course focusing on automotive crash analysis and how LS-DYNA can be used
to examine whether an automotive structure will meet the requirements. Workshops are run
throughout the course using the Oasys Suite of programs. The course contents are as
follows:

Introduction to Airbag Modelling and advanced Airbag Simulation with ALE
methods in LS-DYNA (2 day)

Nowadays airbags are one of the most important components for the realization of occupant
safety. Beside of the standard airbags for driver and passenger recently there are many more
special airbag versions available. Each airbag has to be specified and validated for its
particular purposes. For this a reliable and accurate simulation of the airbag properties is
essential.
目前安全气囊是行人安全保护的一个重要部分。除用于驾驶员和乘客的标准气囊外,有多种特
殊气囊可用。每种气囊须根据其特殊用途进行标定。对安全气囊进行可靠精确的模拟至关重
要。
In the seminar the principles of airbag modelling, airbag folding, components and materials for
airbag models and calibration of a complete airbag model system are discussed. The
participants have the possibility to apply their achieved knowledge by several examples.
